What is the course about?

On this course you can enjoy a weekend of varied band music in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, exploring repertoire old and new. We welcome woodwind, saxophone, brass and percussionists on this infectiously enjoyable course. There might be some sectional work, but there will usually be a celebratory play-through of what we’ve practised on the final day. Brush up your sight-reading and enjoy a vast range of repertoire from ‘Teddy Bears’ to Hindemith.

The course will be completely practical ensemble playing.

Will music be provided in advance of the course?

No, it will be provided by the tutor on the course.  Any requests we’ll try to source and individuals can bring material with them, if they wish.

Is there anything I need to bring?

Instruments, accessories, repair kit.
