D-Tech's Plexiglas security gate
The contract, which will start in June 2013, covers self-service, security, staff station functionality and inventory technology for the RCN's prestigious Cavendish Square library.
D-Tech will install their increasingly popular free-standing ECO SelfCheck™ unit with full payment facility including chip and pin, and their stylish Plexiglas RFIDGate™ which has been widely installed in libraries such as those at Ravensbourne College, the London Borough of Lewisham, the Royal Borough of Greenwich and Liverpool Community College.
The Royal College of Nursing will utilise RFID for inventory and for the issue, return and renewal of AV material.
Managing Director for D-Tech International, Marvin Crisp, said: ‘We are very proud to have been selected as the supplier for the Royal College of Nursing and look forward to supporting them in offering a new and improved library service to their students. D-Tech firmly believes in the investment of libraries as a means of offering multifaceted experiences for users and we look forward to aiding the College to deliver this functionality.'
